FLAPPER PLUS 8s
(3.5s = everywhere but the USA) 1984 (optional) & 1987 (stock standard) to 1990
Overview: Absolutely the simplest and most venerable of EFI systems, officially named Bosch L-Jetronic (aka the Flapper). First used in 1974  and a commanding presence in the European automobile world until 1989. Parts are easy to find, very inexpensive and there are many speciality shops repairing them. They allow a much greater degree of owner interaction and tuning than other systems.
