| Hanley Swan is a lovely area and well-placed to be an
ideal stopover, a fine spot to meet up with friends, have a glass, look
at wares, get advice and even test drive their products on the spot. The
Fair will officially be open on Saturday August 1 and Sunday August 2,
2009.
It
is a few minutes from Malvern and a lovely drive from the Raceway along
little country roads.
Aside from the display of the wares each of these designers
have become famous for, it is an opportunity to met these legends and access
their counsel. Rob Wells will be debuting his new back and front
suspension systems that all the rumours are about. It will be presented
at the Workshops on Saturday and on display for examination. (Sorry, no
images until after the Show).
Vic Champoness will be bringing the legendary Roy Clarkson-prepared
Monte Carlo Plus 4 winner, UN0 600.
Parking has been expanded, facilities multiplied and on
site food
arranged.
From the raceway, one takes Evansham road north 'til the
A435..then go left onto the little B4079 to Aston Cross. Turn left and
take the A36, go under the M5 and on through Tewkesbury until you turn
right at the A38. Continue north again until you veer left to Upton-upon-Severn.
Then the north on the B4211, under the M50 and then left at the B4209.
Through Hanley Swan towards the Malvern Hills and Hanley Workshops is on
the left. For those with GPS units, it is 52 04'50.73"N and 2 17 41.68"W
