Start:  Us in the queue for the start of the Trial, day 1

Laurette and Phil, MacWhirter hail from "down under" the wonderful land of Oz, or Australia as the maps would have it. In 2002, they prepared their Plus 8 for a Trial and experience of a lifetime..(see discussions in eMOG archives on the car and feeding of a Morgan in hot climes!) The Mog was packed and the three were off to try the Trial to the Nile...with 100 vintage cars competing from the civilized sanctum of Western Europe overland to the Pyramids of Egypt.
