ADVERTISING

The eMog Pub is not a vehicle for public advertising and we do not accept any for our site or emails. Though knowledge of what is available on the market is a prime interest for enthusiasts, information should not be presented by anyone having an interest in the product or service posted. Anyone wishing to present something they have an interest in should send an outline to the Moderators, who may (often) choose to present it for them. There is no charge for this.

A member selling his own parts or car is not NOT considered advertising. We also provide the services of the eMog AutoJumble to assist members wishing to find or sell parts or cars. https://www.gomog.com/forum/index.php

SUBJECT MATTER

Though we expect most subjects to be Morgan related, this is NOT a rule. Anything of interest to the group would be welcome. If an issue becomes one specific to yourself and one other, than perhaps it would be wiser to continue it off the group (OOG). The Moderators shall decide whether any topic, message or series of messages has become inappropriate to the forum.

BEHAVIOR

All groups whether internet or 'real world' have certain standards of behavior considered acceptable. These standards can vary and we make no value judgment on whether one or another is good, better, best. However, on eMog we expect words and expressions used to be be restricted to those one would expect to find in any social group of mixed company.

Moderators shall act to ensure that the dialogue remains within the realm of courtesy. Profanity or sexual suggestive remarks are not acceptable. Forwarded or round-robin 'jokes' or humour, unless Morgan-related, are unwelcome.

The great thing about the written word is that it allows one to reflect a bit, choose words wisely and they are easily archived for posterity. The difficult thing about written communication is that it conveys words without expression. Feel free to use any symbols to better convey the mood of your thoughts. :-)

CROSS-POSTING

We ask members to refrain from addressing the same message simultaneously to eMog and other forums. Unlike other groups, eMog is a private facility and is not made available to eyes other than its members Cross posting can carry emog dialogue to others forums which are accessed through any internet searches and spidering, violating our members privacy inadvertently.

VIRUSES

We have had some experience with emails about viruses. If you have anything to communicate on that subject, we have decided that it is best you send your email to one of the eMog Moderators at help@emog.com
 

COMPLAINTS

The technical and administrative support necessary to run eMOG is provided by a number of volunteers and Moderators in several countries, but postings and their archives are not generally moderated save during an investigation of an abuse. Those who violate the group's guidelines or will be excluded at the sole discretion of Moderators. If you have a complaint against another, you MUST make it off-group to a Moderator.

GENERAL

eMOG consists of over 1500 Morgan enthusiasts (couples, Agents, suppliers) from around the world. It is a forum to share experiences and help with maintenance, rebuilding and sourcing parts and materials. Subscribing to accessing its archives is not a public offering but a privilege, and by participating all users accept that they alone are responsible for the contents of their posting and its subsequent archiving.

eMog is intended to be used by people with a care towards the sensibilities of others so please conduct yourself in a manner with this 
as a priority, BOTH in your on-list and off-list correspondence with Moderators and other list members. It is NOT acceptable to post any commercial advertising, or undertake personal or commercial attacks, public airing of disputes or vendettas of any kind. Factual experiences, helpful to other members are welcome. When in doubt, please consult a Moderator off-group.
