EVERY 300 MILES TASK PARTS TOOLS If you are still using the  one shot oiler, do so assuring that the engine is COLD (at startup). NONE NONE Check motor oil level and add if necessary to mid-line only Motor oil Plus 8 10W40 a rag (and funnel)

EVERY 1000 MILES

Verify whether wheels are tightly and/or wheel bearing castle nut is properly adjusted by holding top of tyre  tread with fingers and pulling back and forth. If loose , remove hub and adjust castle nut	NONE Possibly castle nut cotter pin	-Fingers -Possibly spanners and/or Thor hammer
Verify tire pressure	NONE	Tyre pressure gauge

EVERY 5000 MILES

Change the oil the oil filter and the oil plug washer Plus 8 Others	5 + liters motor oil (depending on engine) oil filter oil plug washer	-oil filter tool -spanner or socket for plug -shallow pan for oil -rags -jack and stands (optional)
Grease all points older cars Newer cars have 2 on rear axle, 1 on rear u-joint , 2 on front u-joint  (Under the gearbox cover) Not counting the stub axles	high quality grease	grease gun with -a straight fitting -and a flexible hose fitting
Change oil in differential (never just top up!) Fill until it comes out  side plug	1-1.5 litres hypoid oil  80/90 or that  recommended for your model	Appropriate spanner (14) shallow drain pan rags -jack and stands (optional)
-Replace the spark plugs and verify their gapping. (NAS 4.0 excepted see manual) -Examine spark plugs	Type and number of plugs for your engine Anti-seize compound Earlier Plus 4s	-Spark plug socket -Spark plug gapper
